Life’s too short to make “no” your default.
And with age have your found yourself saying it more often?
What if you said ‘YES’ a little more often?
To the pet, the job, the date, the trip, the adventure, the challenge…
Sure, saying ‘yes’ might not always go to plan, but what if it led somewhere unexpected & wonderful?
All the good things in my life stemmed from saying yes at some point…
- Dating was uncomfortable, but it lead to my finding a fun and supportive partner (for over six years now)
- It was scary to say ‘yes’ to the World Championships with weightlifting, but it lead to an amazing experience and trip with my daughter
- I knew nothing about coaching online in 2010, but saying ‘yes’ got me learning and prepared for the current ‘online world’ we live in
- When Alli Kerr approached me about starting a podcast, who knew how much we’d enjoy it 3 years later and that it would also lead to doing international women’s trips?
These are just a few things I’ve said ‘yes’ to recently.
The thing about saying ‘yes’ is that you don’t need to know the entire path that it will lead you down, often because the benefits are unknown at the time.
You just have to take the first step…
What’s one thing you’d like to say YES to?
Obviously, I’m hear to help!
