Why a Walking Pad is the Best Investment You Didn’t Know You Needed in Menopause

Don’t underestimate the value of walking to manage and maintain your health and weight in menopause. If getting steps in is a challenge, combine your steps with things you’re ALREADY doing every day.

Here’s how my clients and I have used a walking pad, especially during the months of the year that walking outdoors is difficult:

Walk & Work – Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure? If you have to do screen time, even doing as little as 30 minutes a day while walking really adds up.

Walk & Talk – Phone calls can easily be done while walking. You’ll never lose a connection or hear a honking car.

Walk & Listen – Whether it’s listening to your favorite podcast ( I’m a big audio book fan) or jamming out to tunes, a walking pad turns your listening time into active time.

Walk After Dinner – This is a game changer for the end of the day for me and my clients. After your last meal of the day, a gentle walk can improve your body’s ability to manage blood sugar and can help with digestion. By stimulating the digestive system, it makes you feel more comfortable and aids in nutrient absorption. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to avoid doing the dishes!

My walking pad was less than $150. It’s quiet and portable. Plus, you’ll see that I have a jenky desk that I’ve ‘MacGyvered’ to accommodate my laptop or iPad – no need to buy an expensive walking desk right off the bat.

So, here’s your invitation to make a small investment that yields BIG dividends over time (not a sales pitch, just a suggestion).
