If you want to drop a pound a month, this is how you can do it without much effort…
Change NOTHING else & bump up your daily steps. Like I did in these past two months. You can do easy tasks while walking 1.5 MPH on a walking pad, which is an effortlessly easy pace.
I conducted an experiment on myself.
Working from home, I typically get less steps than I’d like (4-5K daily on average). So I simply bumped these up to 10K steps daily with the help of a walking pad.
This meant working & walking about 90 minutes instead of sitting during that same time. And I’ve lost a pound a month (2 lbs).
This doesn’t sound like much, (but it wasn’t really any effort) and over time this could really add up.
As a bonus, I feel much more energized as I my work.
Would you consider a walking pad?
I have lots of easy to implement ideas to bump up your activity, like these movement snacks.
