Make a plan before emotions are triggered.
What ELSE could you do other than eat?
If this…Then that…
For example: If you get upset with your boss, instead of going to a drive thru on the way home, stop at the park for a walk.
Set yourself up for success with a plan and then ‘work the plan’.
You know food won’t solve your problem & may even create other problems.
Find something another way to deal with problems than food.
This takes PRACTICE.
