Where Did 61 Years Go?

Ever wonder where the years go?

Presently, I couldn’t be happier with life, even though it turned out differently than I anticipated.

If I were to offer any advice, it’s to ‘put on your own oxygen mask first’, self care is more important than you may give it credit.

I’ve always prioritized my health and in doing so, it’s helped me stay fit, functional and active in competitive sport (swimming and Olympic weightlifting currently).

If you didn’t ‘put the time in’ early in life, it’s never too late to invest in your health.

Given my ‘advanced years’ I understand many of the stages of life and possibly what you’re going through.

I’m happy to help you be the healthiest version of yourself. Let’s talk.

As for me, on April Fool’s Day I turned 61 & here’s a quick summary of how I got here:

  • I was a spectacled nerd in school.
  • I started competitive swimming at age 6 until university.
  • I graduated with a Bach of Kinesiology, Bach of Education and Early Childhood Diploma.
  • I skied Freestyle for a few years and did a few bodybuilding competitions, both at a National level.
  • I married at age 23 and taught elementary school for 20 years.
  • Life expanded when Hannah arrived in 1994 and Sam came in 1997.
  • I became an entrepreneur at age 40 and left teaching at age 44 to pursue my fitness business full time.
  • I started with a home fitness business in 2004, moved to a fitness boot camp in 2007 for 15 years, started an online business in 2010, went fully online in 2021.
  • My former husband and I parted ways in 2010 but we are great co-parents and remain good friends.
  • I didn’t really date much until Alan thankfully entered the scene (via Match.com) in 2020.
  • I got both my hips replaced, the right in Aug 2021 and the left in Feb 2023
  • Presently I love my clients & business & the opportunity to do so even with much loved travel!
