Setting progress goals over outcome goals is the best course of action.
A progress goal is something like: I will workout 3x week. I will get 100g of protein daily. I will get to bed before 10. You can check off these habits daily since you’re in control of getting them done.
And outcome goal is something like: I will lose 10lbs. You may not be in control of how or when the weight will come off.

Ever step on the scale & forget about ALL the benefits you were just enjoying with your healthy lifestyle? The number on the scale is JUST DATA.
Neutralize the scale by quantifying benefits BEFORE you see what the scale says, that may help you accept that number as just a number.
Change happens when we feel good, so find things to feel good about. And feeling good will keep you motivated.
