👩🏻🍳Sunday is a great day to prep for the week, here are some tips:
👨👩👧👦Get your family involved to help prepare the meals for the week.
🥚Boil a dozen eggs at a time & refrigerate. They’ll last 5 days in the fridge.
🐓Cook 8 chicken breasts at a time. Grill, BBQ, bake or broil with your favorite seasonings. Great for slicing over salad, or even as a snack. Keep 3 in the fridge & individually freeze the rest.
🥩Use the slow cooker. Make pulled chicken, pork or beef. Once you have a protein made, it’s easy to whip up veggies for a fast meal.
🥦Chop up vegetables & store in individual containers. Chop up veggies to eat raw. A good tip for making them last is to wrap them in a coffee filter to absorb water 💦
🥬🥗Wash entire heads of lettuce & chop for salads.
🥕🥔🍗Make your favorite soup recipe. Store 2–3 servings in the fridge. Put the rest in individual containers & store in the freezer.
🚰Open & rinse cooked beans or lentils until it stops foaming. Measure half-cup servings & store in individual containers so they’re ready to grab.
🍳Pick 1–3 recipes to cook ahead of time. Cook & freeze. Take out the meal in the morning, so it will be defrosted by dinnertime. Add a side of stir-fry or salad.
📝Create a standard grocery list of the foods you run out of on a weekly basis. Enlist others to get the items on the list for you.
🍽Eat the same lunches & snacks on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, & then switch on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Planning to eat the same things on alternate days cuts down on the need to plan, grocery shop & prepare ahead of time. This way, you always know what you’re having & can use the leftovers for lunches.

💥Preparation is more than half the battle.
