How To Become a Better Decision Maker

Decide!

Here’s a skill I’m being more conscious of applying on the daily:

🀔Decision making

This is something that many of us have a pat answer for….

‘whatever you want’
‘I’m fine with what you decide’

Look, being wishy washy will NOT get you the things you need in life. You may think you’re being agreeable, but this indecision may seem like you’re a boring person.

Everyone is attracted to confidence.

Participating in the decision making process demonstrates confidence and is important in all aspects of life.

There’s a difference between being hard nosed and stubborn and weighing in on what’s important to you.

If you’re not a good decision maker, start to practice. Start with small things:

-where do you want to go for dinner
– what shoes are you going to wear
-what holiday destination do you want to go to
-what flavor of ice cream do you want

You can tackle bigger decisions with more confidence once you flex your decision making skills a little.

I always remind myself that there are few things in life that can’t be fixed in some way.

Even if I make the wrong decision, I’m going to make one and then I can course correct later if needed.

A decision will move things one way or another in my business, my health, my relationships and in my finances.

I’m a big believer in ‘failing forward’ or as Thomas Edison would say, nothing is failure, it’s only feedback.

Few good things happen in ‘limbo’.

I hope you start making the small decisions with confidence rather than just being neutral.

Risk a lot of failure because I know that the more I fail, the more I will succeed because a ‘flop’ often teaches me more than a win ever could.

Making a decision about your HEALTH can be one of the MOST important decisions you can make. If you need some help, I’m here for you.
