You may just need to lower your standards a little…⬇️
Sometimes we’re our own worst enemy 😈 – please speak kindly to yourself and cut yourself a little slack when you’re not feeling 100%…
✳️Remember that your body is likely going thru some major changes (in your 40’s and 50’s) and you might feel a little like an alien in your own body from time to time.
I encourage you to stay the course 👊🏻💪🏻
Continue with your solid nutrition, protect your sleep 💤, do your best to reduce your stress, fit in some workouts during the week.
Often times when one thing falls apart (eg we don’t work out) then everything else goes out the window…this will only exacerbate issues.
Possibly lower your standards a little:
➡️ in terms of workout intensity or frequency – but get some kind of workout in!
➡️do your best with nutrition even if it’s not 100%
➡️set yourself up for sleep even if you can’t fall or stay asleep (don’t get out of bed or turn on the TV or look at your phone)
