This is a reminder to anyone facing surgery or recovery from an injury, that there is pain free life on the other side.
Hang in there!
Do the ‘pre-hab’ & the rehab, follow your doctor’s orders, stick with it!
I often forget that I’ve had BOTH hips replaced.
This is remarkable considering how BIG these surgeries were at the time. My left hip was replaced in August 2021 & my right hip was replaced 18 months later, in February 2023…
I know it’s a big surgery. If you’re at all reluctant, if you’re questioning what your capacity will be after surgery, consider what your current capacity is now and the pain you’re living with.
I’m an advocate of getting help EARLY to prevent continued life in pain, compensations and muscle atrophy. Medical technology is amazing and only continues to advance, so if you ever need upgrades to hardware or future surgery, trust that the technology will be even better.
I’m happy to answer any questions to help you get through…
Hopefully you’ll look back to only find recovery memories in your rear view mirror like I have…
