Don’t think you have to dismantle your entire life in order to improve your health.
One of the biggest mistakes zealous people make is to try to implement too many health changes too soon.
It’s a mistake to:
- start a nutrition plan
- start working out
- quit drinking alcohol
- plan to increase daily steps
- and more…
…all at once.
While all these habits are worthy to include, your best chance of success is to introduce them slowly.
Start small.
Small wins lead to bigger wins. Once you start with something small, it’s easier to do something more challenging.
My client, Diane, lost 50lbs by cutting out sugar in her coffee at first. Once that habit was well established, she changed her brand of yogurt to one with more protein. Then she added a workout to her weekly routine. While it took a long time to lose 50lbs, she had established the habits required to MAINTAIN the weight loss.
What SMALL habit could you implement to improve your health circumstances?
Obviously if you need some support, especially if you want to short cut the process to choose habits that yield the best results, that’s where I come in. Happy to help!
