I recently celebrated a birthday…
While 62 isn’t ‘old’, the number is shocking to me.
But I’m happy to have a clear(ish) mind, great energy and the ability to move.
I’m grateful to my younger self who prioritized healthy lifestyle habits. And I’m glad I’m learning new things like Olympic weightlifting (started in my late 50’s). And also I’m happy that I chose to return to swimming, my childhood favorite.
This video includes clips from the last 72 hours of things I love to do.
Movement has always been my refuge, my best friend, my happy place.
Two hip replacements later, my plan is to continue to physically challenge myself in this next chapter, no matter what life has in store.
If you don’t have a long history of movement, I want to encourage you, it’s never too late to start moving…
If you’re overwhelmed with getting started, I’d be happy to help!
