What really matters where your health & weight management are concerned?
I created a slide deck with visuals to help make it crystal clear. The images are basically the highlights, but if you want more details, watch this video. This is a little bit longer than my typical ‘reels’, but if you want the details, you’ll find a LOT in the video.
Okay, onto the images. Think of a triangle with five sections…
At the bottom is calories.
Next is macros (or macro-nutrients).
Then food quality and food timing.
And finally supplements.
Take a look:
For the biggest impact, you have to take care of the foundation first.
It’s not to say that things like food quality & timing can’t have an impact, they definitely CAN.
But if you’re over or under consuming food or the macro-nutrients are messed up, you’ll be less likely to reach your optimal health & weight.
And forget about supplements if the other things aren’t in order. However, I strongly recommend Vitamin D, Omega 3 & creatine.
And good news! Your nutrition CAN make a difference in how you look & feel, even in menopause. And it takes less effort than you think!
Here’s a full video on menopause nutrition basics where I break these principles down more fully. As well, I introduce the concept of ‘intuitive eating’ and how you can become one.
Finally, I’m more than happy to have a chat to see if my ‘Beyond the Diet‘ program is the right fit for you. This is something new that I created as a result of my work with 100’s of women and what I’ve found benefited them most.
