Are you injured or nursing a chronic pain? Sadly in menopause there’s far too much of this, but I want you to be encouraged.
There’s hope, even if you’re experiencing a serious issue like a joint replacement.
After having BOTH hips replaced 18 months apart, I can say I’m almost as strong as I was in my 20’s (and that’s saying something since I’m now in my 60’s). I’m enjoying weightlifting, hiking, biking, skiing, all the things I want to do – pain free.
I’m not gifted or special. In fact, I’m probably just like you…You just need to be stubborn with simple, inexpensive habits that can you easily incorporate.
Know that there’s an active life doing all the things you love on the other side of joint replacement (x2 for me) or the other side of whatever nagging ache or pain has you down today.
Don’t give up!
You’d be surprised at how far the right regular movement and proper nutrition can take you. For example, an anti-inflammatory diet, NOT a starvation diet – just one that reduces inflammatory foods, can reduce joint pain considerably.
