Smaller is not better. STRONGER is better!
You can build muscle at ANY age, but the sooner the better.
And the more muscle you put on at a younger age, the better…
But it’s never too late!
So load up the bar!
A pet peeve of mine is when women kill themselves trying to be the smallest version of themselves, when, in fact, this isn’t necessarily the healthiest version.
Multiple studies reveal that adding muscle to your frame is the key to longevity AND health span (not just ‘life span’). Plus, a ‘light weight’ is more at risk for osteopenia and osteoporosis.

So, please try to focus on lifting heavy-ish things instead of focusing on the scale.
*I say ‘heavy-ish’ because the good news is that no matter if you lift light weights for many reps, or heavy weights for fewer reps, the secret sauce to muscle development is the EFFORT with which you do it.
So, as one famous advertiser suggests: Just do it!
