Reason to Be the Oldest in the Gym

Are your parents still alive?

Sadly, I lost both my parents, my Mom in 2013 and my Dad in 2021.

Before they passed, I watched their health deteriorate. They were of a generation where ‘working out’ wasn’t really a ‘thing’.

They were both smokers and while they had both quit, they suffered the consequences of some poor health choices earlier in life.

Honestly, they just didn’t ‘know better’.

But you ‘know better’, right?

And when you know better, you should DO better…And that includes adding some kind of exercise (I vote for strength/resistance training!).

Starting something new is intimidating and scary.

But so is facing life in a nursing home.

So even if you’re late to the resistance training party…

It’s only too late if you don’t start.

By starting resistance training early, you’ll have more muscle as you age, but you can still build muscle well into your later years.
