Here’s What I Did for 17 Days in Italy (and didn’t gain a pound)

Who knew this simple move would help with weight maintenance?

On our 17 day Italian vacation I devoted a few minutes daily to doing a plank.

I started with 5 minutes & worked up to 6:30 min by the end of the holiday (but you can do any amount of time to benefit!).

I’ve never taken this long a break in training…

But the plank was a fun challenge, didn’t take much time & along with thousands of daily steps was just enough.

I didn’t gain a single pound even though I enjoyed my share of pasta, pizza, gelato & wine…

The challenge in Italy was finding places to plank that wasn’t too hard on the elbows.
