Why You Should Learn a New Skill in Menopause

Snatching is the hardest skill I’ve EVER tried.

I’m 60 but started Olympic weightlifting in my late 50’s.

I had complete hip replacements (right hip at age 58 & left hip at age 59) and then returned to the sport.

Currently, I train alone with a remote coach.

I’m scared ALL THE TIME, but I love the challenge of learning a new skill.

I’m forever finding ways to position what seems like slow or NO progress.

In reality, just SHOWING UP day after day is progress…

So if you feel discouraged by age or lack of skill at ANYTHING – I’ve got both covered (I have all the years and none of the skills)…

But I have the drive & enthusiasm, I have a coach & the will to improve, just for the FUN OF IT…

And it really doesn’t matter if I’m lifting a house or just the barbell – my health improves in the process of learning…

I highly recommend you challenge yourself with learning a new skill…
