12 weeks ago I had total hip replacement.
The anterior approach for hip replacement makes recovery quite fast, especially if you don’t wait to deteriorate prior to surgery.
When I found out I needed surgery, I went private & booked it the next month.
This helped me return to training faster.
I’m excited to start loading Olympic lifts soon, but not yet.
There’s a narrow window to prioritize mobility & proper movement patterns.
I can always build strength later.
No sense in repeating the incorrect movement patterns that lead to a dysfunctional joint.
This workout is totally scalable (see modifications). Do 5-10 rounds.
Super fun! So happy to be getting back at it!
