We all fall into a rut from time to time. We can all fall back into old habits, sometimes that we may not even notice right away. For example we might find ourselves on the coach watching Netflix instead of working out or at the bottom of a chip bag or ice cream bucket and we may wonder what happened or how we got there.
Here are four sure fire steps to help you avoid a rut or drifting back to the old habits we’re trying to change:
What? Decide what you’d love – what do you want to achieve, accomplish?
Why? Nail down the reason for your goal. When you really understand the ‘why’, it will give you strength when motivation falls off.
How? Develop a plan. Set a routine.
When? Create a deadline for yourself.
Who? Surround yourself with the people that will help you accomplish your goal. Find a coach to guide, support, encourage and instill confidence in yourself.
