It happens to all of us at some point. This is when we need to guard against the times when our energy and motivation are low.
➡️On these days, my suggestion to you, so that you don’t sabotage your health, is to make a plan of ‘go to’ foods that you’ll have when you’re feeling this way.
➡️Simply being aware of how you’re feeling and making a plan for when you’re most likely to make poor choices is half the battle.
➡️Now, the point of the ‘go to’ plan is to prevent you from falling into a glass of wine, bag of chips or … [enter guilty pleasure here]…
➡️If the ‘go to’ plan is a little off the usual but still has some nutritional benefits you’re winning. It’s better to eat your ‘go to’ foods than to try to stick to the ‘perfect’ plan and failing.
➡️Making a conscious decision about food is the MOST important thing. When we’re lacking motivation or energy, it’s easy to fall into mindless eating.
➡️Make the best nutritional choices possible, get a bit more rest and start fresh.
❌Making poor nutrition choices will likely just prolong the lack of motivation.
