Impromptu Stretch Sesh FB Live – A little stretch recovery sesh 😊
It’s not ALL about the workouts, it’s about active recovery too.
I find that doing 1-2 extended stretch sessions per week really helps my mobility and recovery.
It’s important to have a healthy balance between being strong and being flexible – you can’t have one without the other.
Here are some simple stretches for the hips,hamstrings, hip flexors and calves. If you have dogs…make sure they play along too 😜
This FB Live is dedicated to one of my fav private coaching clients who’s experiencing a little knee pain. She’s had no knee trauma so sometimes addressing tightness at the hips and ankles can help. These are easy stretches to incorporate to see if they address the knee pain.
Other things I’ve suggested are to connect the dots between nutrition and pain. Sometimes what we eat is inflammatory – by doing some food elimination, she may reduce knee pain.
Of course I’ve suggested seeing her doctor as well, but lots of things can be done in the name of SELF CARE too.
