It’s important to pursue your health goals as if your life depended on it because your life actually DOES depend on it!

I had a family of squirrels wintering on my front deck and I sadly had to evict them. It was fascinating to watch as they stole the pillow stuffing that they were using and relocated it to a new home.

They were creating a warm home to ensure their survival. They were creative in moving the stuffing from my first floor balcony, down a tree and across the street. It was so interesting to watch!

We need to be equally as creative in finding ways to pursue our own health goals.

So often we get caught up in ‘busy work’ that we don’t take the time we need to take care of ourselves the way we need to in order to be healthy.

We get stressed.
We don’t sleep enough.
We miss workouts or skip exercise completely.
We don’t eat healthy foods to fuel our bodies.
