It’s not rocket science. It’s a matter of getting a sweat on and there’s no faster way than to grab your jump rope. Here’s a nasty little workout for you:

Do 30 second repeats. Take no rest time, but if you finish the reps before the 30 seconds are done, you can rest at that time. This is the beauty and the curse of this workout. If you go super hard, you can ‘earn’ a rest, but you’ll have to really sweat to get it. If you go too slowly, you’ll get NO rest and have to push through without a break. It’s sort of a ‘pick your poison’ type of workout. So, to get back to the actual workout…

Set your clock for 18 x 30 second repeats and do the following exercises:

  • 30 high knees jump ropes (or get ANY kind of jump ropes for 30 reps)
  • 20 prisoner bodyweight squats
  • 30 high knees jump ropes (or get ANY kind of jump ropes for 30 reps)
  • 20 push ups
  • 30 high knees jump ropes (or get ANY kind of jump ropes for 30 reps)
  • 10 pull ups (assisted pull ups, pull up alternative or hanging leg raises)

You will do 18 total sets (or three rounds)
