Meet my ‘other’ fitness son: Jason Klein. I’m sort of the ‘fitness mama’ in the professional circles I run in and I’m pretty honored that cool people like Brian Kalakay and Jason would want me to be their surrogate mama. Some have asked me if I’m insulted that these young guys call me ‘mom’, but seriously folks, I actually could be their mom. I’m not kidding anyone. I don’t ever lie about my age. The cool thing is, when it comes to training, I can not only keep up with them, but I give them a run for their money. We have a lot of fun together. And I like to look out for them. Like for example when we were done filming in Lapeer, Michigan and the cab to the airport only took cash. Jason was in a pinch since he didn’t have enough cash on hand and his ‘mama’ was able to help out. Like a good son should, he thanked me profusely and even paid me back without a reminder. (Clearly I did a good job raising him ;))

Jason takes after his ‘fitness mom’ and has created a cool fitness program I wanted to let him share with you. We agree on training principles in that it’s SHORT, EFFECTIVE and utilizes bodyweight exercises to help you build lean muscle and drop the fat. I’m really proud of this kid 🙂

It was another one of those days.

Stuck in traffic, with places to be and people to see. I was running late for my workout and since I only allot so much time for each activity during the week, I ended up having to miss my workout.

Talk about starting the week “off the tracks.”

If you’ve ever missed something like a workout, it can really throw you off your schedule. For me, it doesn’t just throw the schedule off though, it will mess up other things like energy level, mood, motivation, immunity, and sleep quality.

Ever experience this?

I was mad because deep down I knew how essential my workouts are in order to achieve my best body. What started as one missed opportunity to boost my metabolism and burn fat, turned in to a common occurrence…

…That was several years back, when I didn’t have a strategy for overcoming the time factor and life’s unexpected events.

I sought a system to cure this issue (by the way, it sas NOT long, slow, boring cardio)

As a matter of fact, that is the #1 reason why people fail at both general “every-day” goals, as well health and fitness goals. No “system”.

When we find a system to keep us on track, things start to fall into place.

I don’t know about you, but that seems pretty awesome to me.

The other amazing fact about this workout is that it stimulates fast lean muscle growth AND fat loss more effectively than most traditional (boring) 60 minute cardio workouts. Plus, did I mention that is 100% bodyweight? I didn’t spend a dime on useless equipment.

You see, the main goal here is fat loss through lean muscle growth. Now keep in mind, these workouts don’t produce bulky muscle. It’s the lean, athletic physique that my 15 Minute Body™ method produces.
