“I don’t have time to workout.”
C’mon. Really?
You need to come up with something better than that.
“I’m hooked up to a dialysis machine”, okay, I’ll accept that as reason for not training, or “I’m in a full body cast” would be acceptable for a certain period of time…
Actually, if you’re on my blog, motivation or time to train aren’t a problem for you. I know you’re one of the few that carves time out of your schedule, you MAKE time, even when it’s in short supply.
Life gets hectic, and so I come up with creative ways to get a workout in. Like on the day I was flying to a long meeting. I did a stair workout at home. I won’t do long slow boring cardio. I like to get a quick and sweaty workout done in less than 20 minutes.
Take it from my pal Mike Whitfield to beat my super fast workouts though (dang Southerner….:) )
What I like about Mike is that he comes up with cool circuits like this one:
The “Bulgarian Spider” Finisher
Do the following circuit twice, resting for 30 seconds between circuits:
1A) Bulgarian Jump Squat (10/side)
1B) Spiderman Pushups (6/side)
1C) Bulgarian Split Squat (10/side)
1D) Spiderman Climb (6/side)
This is an example of a 3 minute finisher that you’ll find here:
Mike beats my super quick workouts hands down with fat burning, metabolism boosting finishers. I love them (altho I’ll need to challenge him to another pull up challenge again so I feel like I’ve beat him on something…;) )
Finishers are cool because you can be doing MY pull up program and HIS finisher program at the same time. I like to ‘finish’ my workout with one of his finishers OR on a day where I have limited time, I can string a few of his finishers together for a full body quickie.
You can grab his 3 minute finishers this week for only $7.
Ya, I know, that’s less than a Starbucks for you and your training partner. He’s pretty much giving this one away.
So grab your 3 minute finishers from Mike before he does the math on this one and raises the price.
