You might not be able to see in the video, but my left leg is black and blue. Turns out that when you cliff jump, you should try to go into the water as straight as possible…I found out the hard way that you can do a ‘belly flop’ on your side and my multi-colored leg is proof.
My family is pretty daredevilish, and I was the last to jump this 35 foot cliff. How could I say no after my kids did it? And I wouldn’t want to back out anyway. Aside from the fact that in order to get to this cliff, you had to scale this wall with a rope that someone
pounded into the side of the rock (which by the way was getting pretty worn out). There was really only one way down. And, it’s good to step out of your comfort zone a little.
So that explains the black and blue leg.
