Now, pinch an area of your body where you’re struggling to lose fat.

 

This might be your hips, thighs and glutes.
Now notice the difference, not only does stubborn fat feel harder and colder, but it’s actually more difficult to burn off.
This is mainly due to three reasons…

 

  1. Stubborn Fat has a different physiology than regular fat. It has more alpha receptors meaning more vasoconstriction and less vasodilation, in plain English it means less blood flow meaning harder for fat to be burned there.

 

  1. It’s also more sensitive to the anti-lipolytic stimulus of insulin, to put it in term you can understand… Even when you have small spikes in the hormone insulin, this fat instantly becomes harder to mobilize and burn off.

 

  1. Stubborn Fat is evolutionarily designed to be difficult to burned, most women can’t lose fat from these areas because this is where your body wants to keep it the most. This fat is meant to protect those areas of your body and meant to attract mates.

 

 

So you can clearly see from the evidence that it’s not your fault that you can’t seem to lose your stubborn fat.

 

It’s NOT because of lack of motivation.

 

It’s NOT because you lack willpower.

 

And it’s DEFINITELY NOT because of your age…

 

It’ simply due to this genetically unfair problem every women over the age of 40 faces known as stubborn fat.

 

Luckily for you stubborn fat can easily be mobilized with the right workout of course.
While your diet also plays a role in how well burn fat, you can’t ignore the workout aspect of it.

 

So here, try this joint-friendly workout.

  1. Push-Ups
  2. Prisoner Squats
  3. Plank hold
  4. Total Body Extension

Do each exercise continuously for 40 seconds, then rest for 20 seconds. Repeat this circuit once more and you will have activated stubborn fat mobilization for the rest of the day.

 

The best part about these kind of bodyweight workouts is that you can do them anytime and even in your pajamas right after getting up from bed; with no need for a gym membership or even leaving your room.
